Default Coleman Guards picket permit revoked

According to another news site, the union prison guards at the federal prison had their permit for an information picket revoked as they were sitting up their tent at Magnolia Plaza yesterday. Apparently the issue for the federal guards is the dangers related to the shortage of staffing at the prison. The new Villages Charter Schools and Middleton is under construction across county road 470 from the Correctional Facility.

As a federal employee, they are an embarrassment. All of us are facing funding or staffing issues, but stirring up the public to force their Bureau's hand is the wrong approach.

Magnolia Plaza isn’t public property, not good for Real Estate sales._

Developers quickly pulled strings to have picket permits pulled to squash display that is not conducive to selling homes.

I have a feeling you haven’t heard the last of this effort to peacefully picket. There are certain constitutional rights to peaceful assembly and freedom of speech given by the Constitution. Are we reliving the 60’s when permits were denied to certain groups?

That applies to public or government controlled property. Not on private owned property that they were attempting to use.

The photo looks like they were on public property. According to the news report, the city of Wildwood pulled the permit to stop the informational picket.

Can you blame them? I am 100% in favor of those employees trying to improve their working conditions, pay, benefits, etc. But, employing scare tactics and a "Chicken Little" message is not the right approach. That goes double for trying to use private property as the venue. The union folks were obviously violating one or more provisions of their permit in order for it to be pulled.

after hearing that the female head of federal prisons, refers to inmates as "neighbors", I stand with the thankless job of being a prison guard and support them 100%......woke has infiltrated the prison systems

People are too quick to believe whatever they hear. That is why the union is doing what they are doing.

What is your definition of woke?

Bureau of Prisons understaffing leads to ‘unprecedented exodus’ of employees, union warns | Federal News Network
"Chicken Little"? "Embarrassment"? "Union Rabble"? "Featherbedding"?
Maybe there are some genuine issues that aren't being addressed. I know I have NO idea of what goes on inside of those walls so the unions trying to get the message out that there are issues, to me, is entirely justified. It's not exactly a job I'd be willing to do. Something going wrong could mean their life.

Some people think peaceful riots are a good way to get your point across.
