Default Brownwood movie theater

hmmm. I recall seeing a drone shot or such days ago next to the Brownwood theater. Showing an area fenced off with some sort of storage of junk.
Wondering if this is true and if they are emptying out the theater…. And if anyone knows why…

Yep at least 10 dumpsters. Seem to be working 5 days a week, for at least couple of weeks. Can’t see over the barrier so no idea what’s coming out. But my guess is they sold seats and anything that they could.

It was in Goldwingnut’s 5 minute video about the strawberry festival.

Best use of that building is a bowling alley. Their always packed up north in the Spanish Springs area.

A COSTCO with a Hooters restaurant inside would be the best use of the space.

There is no variety style theater in the southern areas, comedy dinner theater concept.

Not so much since both houses were sold.

Keep wishing for a bowling alley. The ones on Spanish Springs are to far and are packed with no open times. I know won’t happen, but can still wish.

As for bowling, if you live south of 44 go to leesburg, AMF is right down 44.
I love bowling, used to bowl 5 scratch leagues a week up north, but with the new owners and their new pricing, I’ll get 1 of their Summer special cards and bowl during the summer months. It’s just not worth it for me to pay those prices when there is so much more to do here.
