Heard they were making it into a theater for live plays. Apparently we need more culture.

That would be great if true. My late neighbor played in some of the Villages' plays way back . She passed quite a while back .

They seem to be making a lot of progress clearing this place out. Anyone have a real idea what it will become?

When the developer chooses to announce it will be in the Daily Sun. Until then anyone’s guess.

I love bowling, used to bowl 5 scratch leagues a week up north, but with the new owners and their new pricing, I’ll get 1 of their Summer special cards and bowl during the summer months. It’s just not worth it for me to pay those prices when there is so much more to do here.
Leesburg has the same crappy owner and is always crowded.

Because they needed to rent the space to a business who wanted to be there. It isn't just magic to get or keep a business. The theater is no longer there because movie theaters died in droves during the pandemic and this company didn't continue its contract with The Villages.

I’m thinking more district offices. The golf offices are still above City Fire at LSL. Government offices/staffing never get smaller.

They could put offices in at the Barnstorm and have seven movie screen rooms of space left over.

A few years ago, they said that Genesis Health Club was going to move into the movie theaters at Spanish Springs and Brownwood.
