Default Where is the best place to buy a new golf cart?

We just moved here and are now researching golf carts.
We are interested in a 4 seater one.
Also, which is best? Gas or electric? And why?
We'd like to get a golf cart with a specialty body on it, such as a Rolls.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

There have been so many posts on TOTV on this subject. If you go to the search engine on top of this page you can search golf carts. Or golf cart dealers. There are so many opinions on who to use. If you need more help searching for them, PM me and I'll dig up the good stuff for you. By the way, Trish- Welcome to The Villages.

Specialty Body .. That would be "Yesteryear Carts" or "Street Rods".

Trish...Yesteryear carts are available at The Villages Golf Store on Canal Street or in Colony plaza. They are replicas of 32 Fords. We have one and it is exclusive to The Villages. You won't find them anywhere else so they are quite unique. You can pick and choose colors, tops. etc. Then if you do purchase one, join the Yesteryear Cart club..lots of fun!
Streetrods are another nice cart...they are located off of Rt. 466 behine the Lange Eye Institute. Any other type of carts...not sure where you can locate them...check the Internet. Good luck in your search!
