that for the past 2 or 3 weeks the tone on the board is kind of anti education? Like being an educated person is a bad thing? I think the next time you folks who think like that go to a surgeon, make sure he or she is in the bottom half of their graduating class so you will feel more comfortable.

I'd have to say I haven't noticed what you mean. What do you mean?

In selecting a surgeon I think that the team and experience are more important than class rank. You want to pick out a hospital where they do lots of the procedure. You want to be in a place where you might be treated like a piece of meat on a conveyor belt. Where they do hundreds a year of the procedure that you are having done.
Statistics for some procedures show that the outcome improves even after the surgeon has done it 1000 times.
I do think that education is important. The last surgeon that I went to didn't post his class rank on his wall.
He did post paper from Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital and had a great team.

Thank you. I'll get the pics. (The dad is an avid amateur photographer)

Looks like the Dad but Ethan Robert has a Kirk Doulglas dimple that Dad does not have and no one know where he got it!
