Default Munz Design for additional cabinents?

Yes, we had them put an addtional cabinet in our laundry and are exceptionally happy with their work. I also went to their facility and picked out a number of "scratch and dent" cabinets for our garage. The price was right and all I had to do was paint them. (Just fine for the garage.) Brian, the owner, is very nice and a pleasure to work with.

Default Munz Cabinets

I had Brian come to give my wife and I an estimate on some cabinets right after our closing. He came over and said he would have an estimate in a few days. We're still waiting. I would not recommend Munz to any one as they are unreliable.

When we moved in we wanted additional cabinets. I looked up the manufacturer of the cabinets on line, located the color and style, and from the specifications made a list of the catalog numbers of the cabinets and parts. We gave those to Brian at Munz and all he had to do was order them and send over someone for half a day to help hang them. It worked really well.

Recently my wife and I stopped at the Munz Showroom. Made an appointment for an estimate. Brian was a no show at 2pm; at 2:30 I called and his mother said she would call back in 5 minutes when she found him; at 3pm there was still no call back and now, 3 days later, he obviously doesn't need our business.

How do you find out who installed the cabinets in a new home? I would like to see if I can change mine out.

You can find out by calling the warrenty department.

All I can say is WOW. Installing new cabinets is mighty pricey.

When cabinets are installed, there are no homes, I repeat NO homes that are entirely plumb. So in the installation of cabinets some are shimmed and shaved and altered slightly to fit the not exactly perfect angles of your house and in effect that damages them along with the screws that are inserted to install them. So taking them out and putting in new is not like exchanging new furniture.

You probably already knew that. Just sayin'.

Default Rethought this

Yes I agree. I think I will just have them add the same into the laundry room. I do not know how they decide what to put in each home. But I looked at my pictures I took and there are just too many to replace! I will just add more. Hopefully my decorating and Brazilian wood floors will blend them in!

Default Very Happy with Munz

We checked with Warranty to see who did the original cabinetry in our house and it was Munz. We wanted to add an office area into our laundry that would match the existing cabinetry. We talked to Mom Munz and her son came out to measure, drew up a design that we liked and they had the cabinets ordered and installed within a few weeks. We were very pleased with the results.

Default Additional Cabinets

I had additional cabinets put in by STTAF.
Artie Lanzer took the name of my cabinets (Homecrest) and ordered the exact cabinets that were in my kitchen. It took a few weeks for the cabinets to come in, but once they did, Artie did a great job installing them. I also saved money by going directly thru Artie. He is honest and hard working.
He is located in Summerfield ph.# (352) 245-3280
