Default New construction pictures

I recently purchased a home and was told that during the building process someone would be sending me pictures updating the progress. I got 5 pictures of the concrete slab and that was it. I called and was told theres something wrong with my computer because the e mails fail to go through. I talked to some computer savy people and they said that the attachments are too big. How do I get them to send me the pictures of my new construction.

One option: Ask the person taking and sending the photos to reduce the picture resolution, either via the camera's settings or after-the-fact with computer software that's available to do that function. Much of such software is available as freeware - no charge. Google "photo resizer" and check into some of the results.

Or........it might be just a simple matter of the sender trying to send too many photos in one e-mail. Ask them to try splitting them up across several e-mails to see if that addresses the issue.

I think some mail clients (ie: yahoo ) have problems with big pictures and some others (ie: gmail) don't. I've not had this specific problem but I seem
to have read that somewhere.

Good luck.

Open a free gmail account and give that email address to your TV rep.

If you say where you live generally, , someone on this forum who lives nearby will volunteer to take pictures and email them to you.

Default Neighbors

Morning Gracie!

My new neighbors have been so kind to Ruth and I. They take pics that are exciting to look at.

My Village pics sent to us each Monday are nothing more than some scanned in blurred objects.

Without my neighbors I would have been pic-less

My mother-in-law, who lives just outside of TV, is taking pics for us. She just sent some today with our vacant lot and all of the homes around it already built. The last ones she sent were of the homes around us BEING built and that was about 2 weeks ago. The neighborhood blossomed in 2 weeks! Ours is one of the last to be built. (Sorry neighbors for the upcoming construction!) It's so much fun to see the progress. Good luck with your pics! We will make a photo album of our home when they start construction.
