Default All i can say is wow!

We just came back from our 2 night stay visiting friends which I had mentioned in a previous thread. I was pretty open and my wife was pretty much not as to how we would like it thinking more sterotypical of retirement comm.s in general.

We visited 5 of 10 Country Clubs, both squares during tents sale nights, dinner at Katie Bells and Red Sauce, lunch at Codys and the Seafood place on the water at Lake Sumter, brunch at friends of friends, some regional pools and watched water volleyball, read about the clubs, saw 4 retro Thunderbird conv.s and thought we would start a Tbird Club someday, took the trolley tour, met with sales and visited 1 resale and 4 models.
Talked to numerous residents....

WHEW!

My wife totally changed her mind and it just improved mine.

You have to see it to believe it. I had to slow her down; she was ready to make an offer on the resale today.

Its like a cruise ship (better) on land.

Sorry to break it to you, but you've been duped. That was all a hastily constructed hollywood set and the people were all well trained actors and actresses. Come on now you and I both know nothing could really be that good. They have done the same thing every time I've been there. Suspect they are busy rehearsing now for my next visit in a couple weeks.

Sounds like you had a good time. So what all did you do on the second day of your stay?

You're right - you have to see it to believe it. Keep coming back ......it takes a while to really wrap your head around it all. Or just whip out the checkbook and sign up today!!

Very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay!
