Default Today (1/18/12) Is Our Anniversary

No, it's not our wedding anniversary but the 1st anniversary of our closing on our home in TV. My wife suggested that we go out for dinner to celebrate this event even though doing so is really not anything special. I wonder if any other TV'ers celebrated or will celebrate their first anniversary - new life if you will - and what you did or will do when the time comes.

Our one year 'purchase' anniversary was last month....while we were there in TV. We didn't do anything special - we just chatted about the hole the purchase created in our finances........and then laughed, knowing it was probably one of the better decisions we've made in our lives.

Enjoy your day, skyguy!

Knowing my husband and I we will probably celebrate our one year anniversary in TV with a special dinner or something. Believe it or not, we have "month-a-versary." We give each other anniversary cards on the 25th of each month to celebrate our anniversary. We just celebrate every month. We have a huge storage bin full of beautiful cards that we've given to each other over the years. I say go for it because it's a new chapter and a new life, Skyguy79.

Here I was with my hat and coat on ready to go order flowers for you and Eileen.

Good thing I reread it. I'd say just a good can of Chef Boyardee at home....with candles of course.

I think it is a good idea to reflect of what living in TV has meant to you both and to relive all your conversations that brought this to fruition and your happiness.

Happy times need to be celebrated!!!!!!

RIGHT!!!!!

Congrats to you and Mrs. Sky.

Chef Boyardee? I'd rather have a hot dog and call it a day. I was brought up on homemade and freshly cooked pasta. BTW, I'll be sure to let you know the day before it's our anniversary!

Soon it will be my one-year anniversary of my FIRST visit to TV.

Look what has happened in a year.

I have a beautiful home on a LAKE in TV (oh yes, Bill....a lake!).....and best of all, I have wonderful forever friends....the best of the best.

Who could ask for anything more?

Default We got married...

Yep... we did! I know you don't believe that... but we did.

OK.. I digress.

We got married the week of corporate shut down so we are always on vacation when our wedding anniversary comes around. We almost always forget the anniversary! I can remember a couple of times being in some wonderful place looking up and saying... Wow... we just missed our anniversary!

We, like you, are enjoying life so very much that we celebrate most all the time. Life is good!

My point is... I appears that every day since you have gotten there has been a celebration.

Skyguy! Love you and I'm so glad you made it!

Now... just where did I put that box of cake mix????

My wife and I also have our "month-a-versary" on the 25th (5-25-75). It was Memorial Day weekend that year. A day that started out cloudy then turned sunny
