Obama Awards No-Bid Contract to Iran’s Friends in Brazil
Unemployment is double digits! What is up with this clown?! No one has to mar his image, he does a fine job of it all by himself.

the subject of this country contracting and sub contracting military projects to any country outside the USA should become more frightening to us all as we discover who it is that is in the chain of command of these companies/countries....and their potential to stretch out/steal/delay/sabotage/interrupt/et al the needs of our military.

Just look back in time/history to see who the suppliers were to the needs of the military...American companies with American workers.

Another (like alternative energy development) opportunity to increase employment AND SECURITY here in the USA. However politics rules and we the people go merrily along because it does not affect us directly.....YET!!!

Brazil hasn't been our friend in the U.N.; Brazil also has a close friendship with Iran. We're going to depend on products and parts for our strategic defense from players who are of questionable friendship, when we have viable alternatives in our own country? What the heck is Obama thinking?

Default purpose

i will state what no one dares to say...i absolutely believe that this president is no clown, he is smart and well connected...i believe he is purposefully doing everything he can to destroy our economy, our military, and weaken us in order to make way for the leftist takeover of our country. if i disappear under suspicious circumstances, you will know why!

You *do* understand that Democrats said the *exact* same thing about Bush, yes?

What was your opinion of them?

I remember an old saying. Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity or incompetence.

When it comes to this president, it's not wise to discount malice.

Yeah, because purposefully destroying this country will do.. What?

What would Obama gain from that? It's those kind of statements that make people sound like the tin-foil hat brigade. Now, you can make a lot of arguments concerning policies and whether there socialist-influenced or something like that - but a *design* to destroy the country? Umm - at that point, tax revenues collapse and there's nothing to support the very government employing these people and a SECOND GRADER can see that.

You want a bigger threat to this country than Obama (from a certain point of view)? Travel. Go ahead - go to Europe and see how THEIR people are treated - the fact that THEIR unemployment is lower than ours, their health care is better than ours and (in the case of France and Germany) their budgets are in better shape. Sure, you've got the problems with the PIIGS countries (although Ireland seems to have straightened themselves out) and it IS kind of interesting to see France and Germany scolding Greece,Spain, Portugal and Italy and not wanting to bail them out.

Things aren't the way they used to be and the old arguments aren't holding nearly as much water as they used to.

I completely agree with every word. Too many Americans refuse to look at the big picture. We are NOT alone on this planet. My rule of thumb is "Who can hold their own with the leaders (some very dangerous) of other countries. And, quite frankly, I don't see anyone on the Republican ticket that can. Yes, this is very much about our economy right now, but don't forget to take into consideration our standing in the world when you go into those voting booths.

Obama trying to destroy this country??? Please! Get a grip people! He's been mopping up old crap since the day he took office. BTW, has anyone seen "The Tillman Story" Appalling!

It is said what obama has nothing to gain by destroying this country well he is not the only one that wants to destroy us dont forget about the concentration camps FEMA has in place. Slaves dont like working. Also 70 % of the American people want obama out now why is he still in office. And stop blaming someone else for your short comings. I know this is off topic but I think when it is decided the rep. candidate Hillary will be in the dem. race because they know obama doesnt stand a chance. It looks as though Newt is gaining people will vote for him just to get obama out good or bad I hope Newt gets in. obama is a puppet for some other powers. Confuse your enemy and they are easier to defeat.

Default Europe

i HAVE lived in Europe for four years in Madrid and five months in Belgium and three months in Italy...i have seen the high cost of everything, the discontent of the people trying to work off the books so that the govt would not take most of their pay, i have read the state owned newspapers and seen the state owned tv stations... i have seen where everyone knew their place and never had a dream of becoming successful or moving up in society...i have seen the 27% unemployment rates...believe me, a nice touristy trip to europe does not show you the whole picture...that is precisely why these people's last prayer is that America succeeds in ousting this leftist govt or none of us will have a chance to get out from under them....they are looking to us to lead the world back to freedom.

When it is said Obama is "destroying the country on purpose"; it means a lot more than is superficially said.

He is more to the point "transforming the country on purpose", which in the minds of the people you're trying to understand is the same thing.

Read Chachacha's post above this for more understanding of this.
