Default Shutter & Blind Manufacturing Company

The newspaper has an advertisement for solar shades/sun screens by Shutter & Blind Manufacturing Company. Pricing is very reasonable. Has anyone used their service?

Default Solar shades

We had them come out and gives an estimate for our screened in lanai. We found them to be reasonable enough but it just so happened that Home Depot was having a 20% discount on all custom orders and the Coolaroo brand ended up being a lot cheaper...$153 a shade compared with $249 a shade and we needed four of them. Coolaro has a three year warranty which we thought was better as well. The only down side with Home Depot is that we will install them ourselves as opposed to other company installing them. Home Depot wanted an additional $118 to install.

All, every single one of your posts are about blinds and shutters. Can you tell me if you sell them?

Since I am the original poster of this topic, I should bring everyone up to date. I ended up using Blinds4Less (753-5003) for enclosed lanai solar shades. They did a wonderful job, and the solar shades are perfect for controlling sun.

Default The worst shutter & blind company

Please beware, I have placed an order back in June 2013, still have not received my install date. The shades were suppose to be installed the beginning of August. We are now, at the end of August, and I can't get a phone call back.

We were gone almost the whole month of August, they knew we needed install before then. The owner called and made excuses but promised he would take care of it upon our return. At the time, of the phone call I asked the OWNER if I could have his number and he declined. Stating that he doesn't give it out to ANYONE.

URGH....I am so frustrated. Please do not use this company.

Shutter & Blind Manufacturing Company. 352-610-3018.

Thanks for reading my post!
