Default 7 Days to Closing

We are closing on our home, in Sable Chase, next Friday 2/17. We both are having a hard time sleeping. It's like Christmas when we were children. Can't move down until my Wife's school year is finished and she will be Retired on May 25th. We will be spending some time before we become Full Time Frogs. She has Spring Break and we are going to spend 10 days in our home then. I will be coming down a couple of times in March as we are having some things done to the inside and will need to get a key to the people doing and pay them when they are finished.

Congrats on the purchase of a new home.

Best wishes as you start to live the dream.

Smile Welcome Fellow Georgians

We too went through just what you are going through. We were so excited that we could not sleep either. But, this is just the beginning of a long and happy life. You will love having your very own home to return after the squares and such. It just doesn't get any better.... CONGRATS

It hit us the next day after closing, while we were sitting on our Lanai having coffee and we looked at each other and said... W O W, what a ride.

Now if our house in Atlanta will just sell, we will become FROGS too.

I just came in from our lanai where I was relaxing and thinking about how truly blessed DH and I are to be able to live in TV. I logged on to TOTV and your post made me smile. Yes, it really does feel like waiting for Christmas morning. Welcome to your new home. I hope you find living here as wonderful as we do.

Default Been there done that and got the shirt

Welcome aboard. We went through the same non-sleeping. Waking up at 3 AM and turning to the other one and saying do you want to talk about our house. You betcha. We closed Jan 23rd. I stayed three days and my wife stayed 10 days. We are now 13 days away from our final move. And we still aren't sleeping well. We are 95% packed and ready to go. I have 9 more days to work to top off a 40 year career. Trust me we will leave the lights on for you.
