Default Woman's dead body found

I don't know anything officially, so what I'm writing is just from neighbors who were interviewed by police this morning. A woman's body was found near the green at the third hole of the Orange Blossom Country Club Golf Course early this morning, Monday 3-12, by a golf course maintainence worker.

The course was eventually opened but traffic was diverted around the area. Neighbors were asked if they heard gunshots, so we are assuming she was shot. That's all I know. I looked on the online scanner feed to see if there was anything there, but it wasn't up-to-date.

Default Murder at the 3rd hole

I love a good mystery. Never missed a CSI. I feel terrible for the poor lady. Does anyone know how old she was or where on her body was she shot? Please keep us updated on this. Want to bet that someone has blood in their golf cart?

We aren't watching TV here. This is a person dead and probably a villager!

Of course, logic and common sense says she is probably a villager.

And orgunvs, to say you love a good mystery and never miss CSI, sounds like you are making light of a very serious and tragic situation.

Does not mean victim is a Villager just because she was found there. Could have been "dropped off".

Need to know the facts.

Tal, Help me here. I can't find anything that talks about this.

If you can, will you summarize?

I cannot find anything either. There was a death today along the railroad tracks. A train hit a pick-up truck on the railroad tracks in unincorporated Lake/Sumter County at about 9:30 this morning.

"LAKE/SUMTER EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ON SCENE TRAIN VS PICKUP TRUCK, DRIVER DEAD ON ARRIVAL/DECEASED, NO DERAILMENT [NCA043] "
