So what? I think that abortion make that the majority of them are absolutely horrific. I don't believe in abortion for birth control. So many people do. If you feel for good reason that you have to have an abortion, that it is the only way out for you, I will not stand in your way. I will however scorn you if you are carelessly and recklessly using abortion because of your promiscuity and lack of birth control. I would never however place any law on the books to prevent you from having an abortion during the first trimester off for any legitimate medical reason.

Again I say, so what. I think I am reasonable and look at the situation intelligently. I am not holier than thou. Would you outlaw abortion? Do you judge others who have an abortion? Do you find any reason to be justifiable reason for abortion?

CMANN is right. A person can be against abortion on a personal basis but would not force his viewpoint on others if they want or need an abortion.

I've yet to meet one person who was happy to have had an abortion. Don't confuse that with the controversial ideas put forth in pro-life literature about "post abortion syndrome". What I meant was that the abortion was entered into with no joy. It was what was necessary at the time and, again in all cases, the couples involved would have preferred not getting pregnant in the first place.

I don't know how it is as far as national stitistics go, but in the circles I travelled, abortions usually happened after birth control failed. (Like one person who was never warned that taking antibiotics can nullify the effects of 'The Pill' for a month)
