Default Another rightie absurdity

Pete Hoekstra is suggesting a birther panel be established to verify a person's eligibility to run for President. Think of all the secret Kenyans that will be ferreted out. Racism is alive and not so well.

Yep, this is ridiculous! I completely agree with you. Racism is an ugly subject that most people do not want to discuss -- but very much alive in this country.

You can always tell when the economy is improving - gas prices down, Ford can't build cars fast enough, corporate profits obscenely high, real estate market improving - because this is all the RWNJ's can find to talk about.

Hoekstra should hold off on this birther panel thing, until he finds out whatever became of those "special investigators" that were sent to Hawaii more than a year ago to get to the bottom of this Obama BC issue.

Perhaps one of the Cons who posts here regularly, can update us on what this team of "special investigators" found?

Did you happen to see he CNN investigative report on their findings relative to "the birth certificate"?

They interviewed a number of people, including the head of the Hawaii Dept. of Health, who issues birth certificates, and the editor of the newspaper who published the birth announcement. They also interviewed a doctor, a family friend, who was with Obama's mother throughout her pregnancy and personally held Baby Barack only days after he was born. The health department head said she personally had investigated Obama's birth certificate--after all it was her department which was being criticized--and stated emphatically that there was no chance that the birth certificate was invalid or inaccurate and that without question, Obama was born in Hawaii.

The newspaper guy de-bunked allegations that "someone" placed the birth announcement in the newspaper. He explained that the only source of the birth announcements published in the paper is the health department, and is based on the issuance of a birth certificate.

So, those folks who were directly involved say the controversy is baseless and politically-motivated. Donald Trump on the other hand maintains that "his people" have uncovered evidence to the contrary. But in response to Wolf Blitzer's intense questioning, he would not reveal what evidence he had uncovered or the names of his investigators. "I don't give names." said Trump.

Hey, it could be worse. Trump could still be running for POTUS! Turns out he's just as "humorous" as Rick Perry and Herman Cain before him.

This seems like an exercise in redundancy.
Hoekstra stirs up 'birther' issue, calls for panel to certify candidates | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com

Would not this information already have been investigated if the candidate showed up with a fraudulent Social Security number? Social Security Publications I know that money and power can cause cover-ups of various kinds but that kind of power would be in the hands of people who already have such kind of connections. Most candidates would not have these kind of strings to pull.
