Default Leesburg Fireworks...Amazing!!

This was Mrs. Bosox & I 's first 4th of July away from family & friends up north and we weren't sure how quiet it might be.You see my family is big into cookouts & celebration so we felt this surely was going to be a ho hum day. Well thanks to the Mrs. we had a wonderful day .She arranged for us to golf with another couple then go to dinner with two couples. We went to Little Joey's after first going to Oakwood only to find it closed for the fourth. This was our first time at Little Joey's and found it to be very good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back. After dinner we went to Leesburg for an absolutely beautiful fireworks display. The fireworks lasted close to a half hour and was one of if not the best we've ever seen. All in all a wonderful day spent with friends.Thank you dear for a wonderful day!

Thanks for sharing......I wondered about the Leesburg fireworks and almost went, but did not know how bad the parking was. Perhaps we'll go next year.

We also went to Leesburg. It was my wife's first Fourth of July.
The fireworks display was very good. sorry, but I wouldn't call it amazing.
We got there a bit late because we thought it was raining. We were very disappointed that they ran out of hot dogs. They probably didn't realize that people eat hot dogs on the Fourth of July.
I ran into another Villager who told me that he was there the night before for a baseball game and they ran out of hot dogs then. Probably son't think that anyone's going to eat hot dogs at a baseball game.
But, overall, it was a very nice evening. Wish I got there earlier to see some of the other festivities, but I would definitely go back next year.

Thumbs up Silver Springs

We went with friends to Silver Springs and they had nice fireworks after the concert.

We have never had a fourth of July without fireworks. We have seen hugh displays in big cities and smaller ones like tonight. They are all magical for us.

Watched just about a dozen different displays from our westward facing back deck. Some were close enough to really enjoy. Seems like every little town had a display. The booming was like a war zone.....

We didn't venture out as we didn't know where to go and the rain. while eating dinner at Sonny's the doors blew open with people running in from a hellacious storm. Thought another tornado hit town......

Anybody know why TV doesn't put something on? Seems they have deep pockets fro just about everything else

Because there would be seat saving.

Default You can see fireworks from miles away.

To get real here. Fireworks go very high in the sky.
That's why driving home we could see about 4 shows going on all around us.
We use to have them in the Villages and you could see them from your yard as you partied with friends. I really wish they still had them here.
If you go to the higher points in Mallory you can see Leesburg fireworks in the distance.
