Default ACORN whistle blower tomorrow night

Tomorrow night at Lake Miona Rec Center Americans for Prosperity presents Anita Moncrief, the black woman who blew the whistle on ACORN. She is fabulous. Right from the Horses mouth to all you liberals. Come armed with your questions. How can you deny reality??

also is Brandon Darby the FBI Informant who helped defuse a firebomb plot at the 08 Republican National Convention!!

A not to be missed event!!

Sounds like a complete waste of time and a big joke to me. You have a couple of right wing wubers talking to a bunch of right wing wubers. What do you expect to accomplish? There are not going to be any Democrats attending the bashing session. It will just be preaching to your own choir. No one is going to have an sudden change of heart and say, "Oh, now I see! I have to vote Republican instead of Democrat!"

buggyone: Validation as to what one believes is necessary and helpful. This speaker will no doubt add to the information already relayed by other sources and by doing so add to the credibility of said information. ACORN was harmful to freedoms valued by you and me. In fact its original and formal founder, a white male, speaking to a NBC reporter acknowledged that ACORN did some despicable things. Why would you not welcome the sushine?

Will ID be required to get in ????

You have to see the irony in this...

"Earlier today, Attorney General Eric Holder addressed the NAACP Nation Convention at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. What did media need in order to attend? That's right, government issued photo identification (and a second form of identification too!), something both Holder and the NAACP stand firmly against when it comes to voting. Holder's DOJ is currently suing Texas for "discriminatory" voter ID laws. From the press release:"

Read the article and you will see it is for security purposes. Nothing wrong with security, is there? The Attorney General of the US is a Cabinet Official and therefore has Secret Service protection and security procedures are in effect during his presence at any function.

Your ridicule is amazing and also childish.

Will be a good informative meeting for those who are Ignorant of what Acorn was even about. Lots of folks unfortunately out there like that today. That's how the O got in office. If you saw the news the other night when they ask the young people who their favorite founding father is they have no clue. One girl responded "What is a founding father?" How sad this country is. People like that should NOT even be ALLOWED to vote. But thats another topic "Our government schools today" and the dumbing down of America

I don't quite follow your PS. Are you asking if the Attorney General's personal security at a convention outweighs the integrity of voting?

It is two different things completely and for two different reasons.

I have no problem with showing a photo ID when voting but it should be made readily accessible to all without a monetary charge.

Question

The courts will decide if these voter ID laws are legal or not. Meanwhile, couldn't the Americans for Prosperity group find a more timely topic for the meeting, say something happening in 2012 not 2008?
