The Perseid meteor shower will happen this weekend, and you can be an official NASA meteor counter. There's an app for that!

If anyone is still awake, don't forget to look up in the sky. We just went out and saw two meteors in the beautiful sky here in TV. 11:18 p.m. Glorious night.

up north and the only thing i saw while i was running this morning was clouds not a clear sky anywhere...so my count is 0

Happy to say I made it to the hot tub about 4:30. I did see a few shooting stars..one that was really brilliant! AWESOME way to start the day.

I'm so glad you saw some meteors, DandyGirl!
I saw two. (Yes, I'm actually awake at this hour) I thought it was quite spectacular to see the conjunction of Venus, Jupiter and the crescent moon, all lined up & looking beautiful. The meteors almost seemed like an afterthought.
