Default Landscape Forum Recommendations

We listened to our forum family here on talk of the Villages for advice a a great landscape company. We had KGL Landscaping come out for ideas since we had no idea what we wanted, we just wanted something tropical. Jeannie, the designer informed us that tropical may die back in the winter and suggested a more sub tropical landscape that would not only take the winters but the summers too. She also pointed out a low maintenance drought resistant plants and palms were a better choice and new exactly what would grow in what location on our property. Extremely knowledgeable about plants and a great eye for color and balance. Kevin, the owner and his crew really were courteous and polite. They were a fun bunch of guys to have around. Thanks to all your recommendations for the perfect landscape company. KGLLandscaping is really good. (352) 347-8307. I highly recommend them, just like many of you. Oh and ask Kevin about his special "Gokey Blend" Fertilizer that made my landscape green and lush.

Everyone has their favourites. We like Terrascape on Cr. 301.

KGL Landscaping did all the work at our home back in the early spring and we couldn't be happier! Kevin and Jeannie couldn't be nicer...as well as informed. We, also, went with their suggestions of semi-tropical and are thrilled to see how our garden has transformed in just a few short months. We highly recommend KGL!

We had McGowan do ours and could not be more pleased! Pat listened to what we had in mind and put together a nice plan that was just what we wanted and within our budget. KGL basically told us there was no way they could do anything within our budget and walked away. Two others were incredibly high with more than necessary and not what we wanted, but what they wanted. My guess is to make more money as salesmen and not customer focused. Their plans may even look good the first year but than it is a maintenance nightmare.
Pat and his crew were very professional, on time, and he does what he states with no surprises. I would highly recommend him as others have mentioned.

We used Kevin and Jeannie for our first home here in TV. They did a fantatstic job there as well. We saw another yard they were doing and appreciated their work there so we hired them for our work. Wonderful people.

We had McGowan as well and they were very knowledgable and super nice to work with. We are thrilled with our landscaping and will be having McGowans change out our annual plants with each season.
