Default Beautiful Bamboo

We just had James Jack from Jungle Jack's Nursery deliver and plant our beautiful 14' bamboo in our backyard. We highly recommend him - he was very helpful and the plants are spectacular. If you're looking for bamboo at a reasonable price his number is 321-278-8774,

Thanx for posting. I am trying to decide what to plant along a wall that runs down the side of my home. I know there is the non-spreading kind but want to make sure I don't get one that gets away from us. I'll give him a call for some questions I would like answered.

I hate to put a wet blanket on this, but I thought there was a restriction about putting in some invasive plants, like bamboo. Anyone know? Perhaps the ones Phanatic talks about is OK but you better check with The Villages, not the landscaper.

The bamboo that we put in our backyard is of the clumping variety. It's not invasive. As a matter of fact The Villages have been planting clumping bamboo in the new sections. The running bamboo is the type which can be very invasive.

Default Black bamboo

Is really different but beware ... it is running bamboo NOT clumping. Not a good choice for The Village properties.
