Default Ford X plan PIN number availability

I am a GM retiree that is looking to buy a new Ford. The Ford dealers tell me if I can get a Ford retiree to supply a PIN number to me, I can get a better deal. This is similar to how GM works their same referral system. So is there a retiree willing to give me a PIN # ? I am looking to buy this weekend.

Not quite that simple. In order to obtain a PIN, you must be approprately affiliated. Just having the pin number is not enough

I understand that. I was told by a dealer. Than define appropriately affiliated. It is similar to GM. Ford Retirees can get for friends, not family, an X plan number , not A, not D. The purpose is to be able to refer people to buy a Ford, like GM. The family pin is a different process too. The discount is like a supplier discount and one can still use all incentives. I have referred many others in the past. The employee/ retiree gets nothing but for the person and company it is a win/win. They can get one pin per month. No hassling over prices..hand the dealer the printed pin ticket, include your applicable incentives, and that's the deal.
If I am missing something, or defining "affiliated", please let me know. After 35 years with GM, it hasn't changed much.

I'm a UAW retiree who can get you a "Friends and Neighbors" discount. Not quite as much a discount as the A-Plan. The only problem is that I need to complete a form with Ford but it requires all your personal information (including SS #) and I don't feel comfortable with that (as I'm sure you would feel the same). If you know any Ford employee or Ford retiree, ask them to obtain a "Friends and Neighbors" pin number for you. They can do this buy going online axz.ford.com. It's quite simple. Hope this helps!

I have used X plan from a friend a few times.
Sometimes I have gotten a better price without it.
Better without it when we bought out Tbird.
Paid more with it when we got a Volvo
Better with X plan on the MKS.
I always get my price first then ask if X Plan is better.
