Here is hot and sunny (but with a red blob coming at us on radar) in Lady Lake with temps in the 90's and the heat index painfully hovering around 103.
It rained about an hour ago and I actually think it got hotter afterwards!

even this florida girl is wrung out from humidity...the good news is the area has been more precipitous than in the last 100 years, so this is not the norm.

71 degrees today, 75 tomorrow, sunny and pleasant in Lagoon City. Cool evenings. Fall colors starting soon. Come visit Ontario, Canada.

Kitty - the bad news is I haven't figured out yet how to wring my self out - therefore escaping to the mountains and hopefully some cooler temps. But I do appreciate all this rain since we did some landscaping late spring and the rain is certainly helping out with the watering! I guess every cloud does have a silver lining!!!! I just need to escape for a while.

Default Almost Heaven

Left The Villages in July and came to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia to cool down.

Temps are in 60's mostly in the day. Air is clear and crisp. Fireplace on.

Come on up.
