Default Taverna Red

1) They gave our reservation to another party 2) They seated our party in a non air conditioned part of the restaurant (may as well have been outside) 3) They got drink orders incorrect 4) The food took quite a while to be delivered 5) The food was luke warm 6) The manager didn't even comp our beverages

No more Taverna Red for any of us. A word to the wise.....

We had dinner there once and were not impressed. Surprising too since the same folks who own Taverna Red own Pasta Faire in Bellview and we've always had great food and service there.

way too many mediocre restaurants IN and around TV.....the formula for success is SSSOOOOooooooo simple..
good service
good food
clean establishment
reasonable prices
customer satisfaction is the top priority

All these must be headed by an owner/manager that cares....

there are obviously a lot of amateur owner/managers who don't care.

You forgot one import part of the formula:Make a profit. Sometimes that's not so easy. If it were easy everyone would do it.

Never eaten there or been there but if the owner or manager is on site then there is no excuse for that kind of stuff.

Sometimes you have to work longer than eight hours.

Does this restaurant rely on entertainment for the draw?

Have not eaten there ... but if it is owned by the Pasta Faire people, I am also surprised at the amount of neg reviews.

Three of us had lunch there yesterday 9/15 and all thought the food and service was well above average for this area. Truth is reporting, the place was nearly empty but we do plan to return again. Busy evenings may be a different story.

I checked out their reviews on www.yelp.com. They average 2 stars out of 5. Not very good.

You would expect better, with Little Joey's in the same strip. I guess they never check on what the competition is serving.

Taverna Red is one restaurant I will go out of my way to avoid! I have to go there weekly for a group I belong it and am thinking of dropping out of the group because I just can't bear to go anymore. And, yes, for you who wonder, I have mentioned this to the group organizer.

Did you mention your dissatisfaction to the Restaurant Manager?
Not sure the group organizer is the person that has the power to improve your experience.
