Default Any "must do" events going on Oct 9-15?

Hubby and I are coming to rent for a week from Oct 9-15. We are renting a Begonia which is the floor plan we intend to build. Our design appt is Nov 25.

We are meeting with our sales rep to fine tune all that we can before the design appt. our goal being to get Design done in a day.

We are hoping to meet some of our Gilchrist neighbors on Gullberry Place. As I understand, ours is the last home to be built on our street.

What activities or events are going on that weekend that we should not miss?
We do intend to get to Katy Belles on Monday for the show. But what else should we plan to see and do??

This is our second visit and we can't wait!!

Dotti105, The 10th is Italian Fest at LSL and that's always fun. They usually have special vendors, stilt walkers, and performers on the square during band breaks. Also, Wednesday - Sunday the singing waiters at Havana perform. The food is still not great but the entertainment is awesome. Make reservations!

You have to attend a meeting of the Beatlemaniacs of the Villages on Oct 11 at the O'Dell Rec Center. Oct 9 is John Lennon's 73rd birthday so we will be having a special John meeting.

Thanks for the suggestions! We arrive to late on the 9th to celebrate Johns BD.
but I'm sure you will celebrate him in style. He was one of a kind. They broke the mold after him.

Will check out Havana and the Italian fest. Great suggestions. Thanks!!!

Oh, I reread your post. We may make the celebration on the 11th after all! ;-)
