Wondering if anyone made their front bedroom in a tv/theatre type room.
We were thinking of getting some theatre seats, plus a sofa couch(in case we need the 3rd br) and a large tv with surround sound

Looking for some ideas if you have done this.l

Originally that front bedroom was our office....two desks, credenza, bookcases, etc. Slowly we dispensed with the office furniture and now it is an additional sitting room with a sofa, love seat, coffee table, swivel chair, 47" flat screen TV on the credenza. Since we now have laptops and iPads, the desks weren't necessary. Our two file cabinets are short, wood furniture pieces and act as lamp tables. We use that room more now than we did when it was an office. The wireless printer does stay on a small table in that room....router and modem are still there.

After the office, we tried a sofa bed in that room, but quickly sold it. When the grandkids come for a visit, two air mattresses inflate and deflate quickly and are more comfortable than the sofa bed was.

We use our middle bedroom as a TV/computer room and, if needed, a 2nd guest room since the couch turns into a queen-size bed. Only problem I've encountered is that the lights from the equipment are disruptive if your guest prefers a dark room for sleeping. I'm looking for a solution (e.g., black cardstock) to cover the lights.

That's really not a considered a theatre room, more of a tv room.
