Default The Village Voices Christmas Concert last night.

I wish I knew how to start or how to praise. This group who has been singing under the direction of Dr. Sandra Willitts for ten years cannot be any more perfect. They are the largest senior chorus in the U.S. and have 140 men and women who are all auditioned, selected, trained, and talented to the utmost. Their average age is 74.

Last night they delighted a sold out audience of 1200 with beautiful, traditional and some unheard (to us) Christmas music. They brought the audience to both laughter and tears and sang their hearts out to people who could not keep from tapping their toes and wiping their eyes at times.

Thank you dear wonderful singers. The heavenly angels surely cannot do better.

And Merry Christmas.

It was a wonderful concert!
Even though there were signs that said "Sold out" on the way in to the church,
I went in anyway. I didn't have a ticket.
I sat in a chair in the vestibule and was listening to the chorus as they walked in
and were singing beautiful carols. Just as the concert was starting, an usher
came over to me and told me she had one ticket in her pocket which she would
sell to me!
I was very lucky and enjoyed it immensely.

Gracie, the conductor is Dr. Sandra WILLETTS. I know you know and it was just a typo.

OH MY. NOT Sandra Bullock. She is quite another person. You are RIGHT, Sandra Willetts. Thank you Gage. Merry Christmas.

Wasn't there last night but have heard The Village Voices a number of times and they are outstanding. To all you Newbees, they are an absolute must to see.
