The only time I've helped someone in a golf cart is when I used a can of tire inflator on their flat tire. I have no idea whether the cart was gas or electric.

But I sense that the real motive behind this post is to somehow convince everyone that there are thousands of electric golf cats broken down in the Villages and that all of the people with their great gas carts are rushing in save them.

Helped a guy who ran out of gas. Followed a couple home (Yesteryear cart, so gas) cause their lights went out. Gave a ride to some folks who ran out of juice in their electric cart. Watched some guys push three different carts over the 441 golf cart bridge -- two electric, one gas. Have stopped and advised a couple of electric cart owners to let their cart sit for 30 minutes, don't turn on the lights and they should make it home (and then followed the to make sure they did make it home). Not sure how it works, but electric carts will give themselves a slight re-charge when just sitting. Most who have needed help were lost and I didn't check their carts, just gave them directions.
