Default Can You Use Some Blues?

Looking for a head count as I'm attempting to put together a group to go to Earl's Hideaway & Tiki Bar in Sebastian, Fl. on the 16th of Feb. to see and hear Stacy Mitchhart. Stacy is a top name in Nashville...he is one of the house bands for the Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar and one of the house bands for B.B. Kings..both in Nashville. He will be playing from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM so I thought we'd leave to go around 11:00-!!:30 AM since it's a 2 hour drive and we'd get there in time to get something to eat and good seats, but who knows, the place might be empty!!! There's no cover charge and he's excellent. If you'd like to check him out and hear some of his music, his website is stacymitchhart.com Let me know if you're interested and don't forget party at my house 2/22!!! Smiles, Ronnye

I love Blues. Too bad this place is so far. Linda Lou and I went to BB Kings in Orlando for Blues music Much closer, excellent food, music, atmosphere, affordable (especially if we can get Groupon tickets), can do it in one evening and not get home too late. Here's the link if you want to consider it. We had a fantastic time.

B.B. Kings Restaurant & Blues Club :: Orlando Home

Hi Kathy, Stacy Mitchhart is the same artist that I went to see with a friend at BB Kings in Orlando. This is further for sure but it's during the day from 2 to 6pm. Should be fun. I'd love for you and Linda Lou to come too!!!

Great blues right here at City Fire in Brownwood every Monday night starting at 7:00 pm. It's a jam so you never know who will show up. Check it out you might be surprised.

I agree Scarecrow, great blues here in TV, definitely, but its fun to get off campus sometimes, we need a break from the bubble.. LOL.

I love the blues at McCalls also.

Ronnie, I'll check with Linda Lou and see what she thinks. Need to check my calendar also for day trips, lots of doc appts these days. Will let you know. Not so sure I like the biker bar venue. Do you have any comment on that????

I have no problem with bikes at all. The site shows bikes in one pic but plenty of other pics showing what looks to be a fun nice place that happens to be biker friendly.

KathieI don't let those bikes keep you from going. Most biker bars you will meet great people and have a ball. They are friendly good people looking to have a good time just like you. I know they can seem and look intimidating with the leather but they wear that for protection in case they go down on the bike.

My husband and I have a Harley and we always stop at places when we see bikes. The food is usually good and we always have fun. Don't be scared just go and have a good time!
