Haven't really dated since my wife of 47 years passed 29 months ago. In wanting to move out of this small town(Buena Vista) in GA, I am coming down for a visit in order to see if I want to move to TV. Will be alone since the lady that promised, living in Pensacola, decided not to come with me.
Am not attached and not looking for any "one nighters". Want to spend the rest of my days with someone compatible.

I'm not sure what your post means to convey, as it concerns our 9/20 party, but, I think you should know that these get togethers are a way for singles in the Villages to socialize in small groups, simply to get to know each other and not, in any way, a dating event.

I am very sorry for your loss. I think you will find that most all of the residents of the Villages are very friendly and welcoming to new people, whether married or single. If you are visiting on September 20th you are more than welcome to join us.

Just an update. I have only 5 spaghetti dinners left, for anyone interested in coming to our Meet and Greet on Friday night. Since this dinner party requires some cooking time, I really need the final count by the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday) or until I get the last 5 single's RSVPs.
