Didn't seem too warm to me. She was scraping ice from inside the box before the game and they had the window of the box open during the game.

But a lot of her fans probably missed the game but saw her on the Internet wearing the fluffy coat with her boyfriend's jersey number.

Default Peacock money-grab....

Really ****ed off with the Peacock money grab for the Chiefs game. We have Roku, and paid for an NFL subscription so we could get the games. Clicking on the NFL icon from within Roku pushed us to Peacock for another $7 to watch the game. Like someone said .... what a crock. (And even though we pay for the NFL monthly, someone "up there" decides what games I can watch. Discovered a work-around by switching my VPN access to a different part of the country - and voila! - the game I want to watch. The run-around big brother gives us..... <grrrr>)

I could have paid the $6 but I knew I'd be asleep by halftime. Active Senior Priorities!

Look for this type of programming to continue in the future. Make no mistake, this game switch to Peacock was a test...by both NBC and the NFL, to see if people would bite on what was basically a pay-per-view playoff game. The results are in, and the Chiefs vs Dolphins game was the highest live-streamed sporting event ever on a pay channel in the USA. It was also the largest internet event ever, consuming 30% of the internet traffic during the game. I guess a whole lot of people just couldn't say no.

For many, it was not a pay-per-view game at all. I simply launched the Peacock app I had already been using for over a year - no additional expense. Other than being a playoff game, was this broadcast any different than the Prime games earlier in the year?

It was a test by NBC to see if fans would become subscribers. It's not clear how that worked out. The claim is that 23M watched the game but not all of those were new subscribers. In 2022, there were about 30M viewers for the wildcard games. Is 23M a good number for NBC since some (probably large) portion of those were new subscribers? Or, did they pay a lot of money to attract 20% fewer viewers than last year?

Default Peacock

Watched at a friends house who will cut Peacock ASAP. I am pretty sure that at least 50% of those who watched it will cut the peacock. Although some did get it with their regular cable subscription Xfinity especially.

Got a free year of Peacock staring last month with my Golf Pass membership. Not a bad streaming service, since they run all the commercials at the beginning. Just put it on mute for 3-4 minutes, come back and watch uninterrupted
.
Football game? Did not watch. Not interested.

If you have ROKU, you can add subscribe for 7 days free, then cancel before the 7 days are up. Don't know if you can do this without ROKU. Thats with all the streaming channels. Go Bill's !
