Actually it is not new. :Lance Armstong amazing bicyclist resorted to blood transfusions after passing blood tests. A few Olympics back the Russians were giving male hormones to female athletes. A follow up study these ladies had many problems including getting pregnant.

Fair? A shocking reality from a friend. Life is not fair. Where does it stop? Perhaps when horses compete in track.

Personally, I don't care what kind of body modification someone wants or thinks they need to make them happy. Go for it. Bigger lips, hips or boobs. Facial alterations, hair implants, horn implants, scales and tattoos, and split your tongue like a reptile. Cut off your genitalia and redesign it whatever you want. Just remember, you are your DNA, no matter how much surgery you have had or how many drugs/hormones you take. You are, and always be, a pretend lion, lizard, leopard, man or woman. Not the genuine article. And not being open and honest about it is lying.

We are in a state of confusion, Quota force companies to hire based on stuff like race, sex, religion. Imagine hiring today. Civil service WAS test based to get the job. In the 60's they started giving a handicap bonus based on RACE.

I was involved in sales. On one job there was one Female out of 40 salesmen. I only saw her at once a year meetings. She liked woodworking and I did also. Seems the buyer at her biggest account was gay and she was also. Aside, I like hand tools. She was into power tools. As I said I would see her once a year, She had cut two fingers off. Not sure all the reality, Her sales dove and she got fired.

This is body manipulation via chemicals to gain an advantage. Calling it "trans" should not let him compete against women. That is not "fair", or "life". It's cheating and wrong.

There is no current classification in the Olympics for men to compete against women. Let a new competition organization get formed - Trans Olympics - and let them compete against each other. That's a fair thing. However, it will fail because nobody will watch, thus no sponsors.

I don't believe I ever gave the OK for anyone to hit anyone else in anger. But, from a societal standpoint, women slapping or hitting a man who insulted her was far more excepted than a man returning the "favor". Violence is never acceptable. Combat and combat sports being the only exceptions.

Example: back in the world I had a client who one day woke up and "identified" as a chiropractor. Hung a sign his window, rearranged furniture, etc. etc. He and I had a visit scheduled that day: he got quite incensed when I told him that he was NOT a chiropractor and that the signs, etc. had to come down. Threatened me with a lawsuit for preventing him from earning a living.

A visit to his psychiatrist and a couple of med adjustments took care of the issue.

Can't help but think: if that happened today, in some parts of his fair country anyway, I'd have gotten into trouble with some advocate, somewhere, for what I did.

Sometimes the advocates are wackier than the folks that they advocate for.
