LA 2028 will have flag football, squash, baseball, softball, cricket and lacrosse. I think most of them were invented in the US or North America.

Definitely not nude athletics!!! That was supposedly a thing for the Greeks back then.
"From the early 8th century BC, Olympic athletes competed in the nude. There are indisputable records going back to Athenian philosopher Plato in the 5th century BC and even Homer's Iliad, as well as many explicit drawings that confirm it was common practice for all male track and field athletes to take part naked."

How many break dance in the world? A few thousand? Is it athletic? He’ll no! How many people play pickleball? Hundreds of millions of people world wide. Is it athletic? At the upper levels? Yes!
The Olympics this year have been a joke starting with that idiotic last supper. When are the adults going to start running the world again?

Baseball, softball…their absence is unwelcome.

Is archery or shooting athletic? Is golf athletic? Much as I don't like breaking in the olympic events it certainly is more physical than many of the other "sports".

Men and women were a lot shorter on average during the Ancient Greek Olympics. And probably had shorter ding-a-lings.
