My name is Kimberly Alfrey of the Sumter County Health Department. I am the Tobacco Prevention Specialist for the County. I will be offering Freedom From Smoking Classes at the Villages Public Library on the following dates:


Feb 5th (Orientation)

Feb 11th

Feb 19th

Feb 25th (Quit Day)

Feb 28th

Mar 3rd

Mar 11th

Mar 18th


All classes will be at 10 am. You must prepay for the class and the cost is $15.00. The fee includes all sessions, all curriculum and the first box of nicotine replacement therapy patches. Please note that all participants must have a letter or RX from their physician stating that they may medically have the patch before I can issue it to you. I conduct free community presentations on tobacco related illnesses and prevention. Should your group be interested in a presentation please give my office a call.
