I am so sad to hear this. I wish I had words to comfort you. I pray that the people working on this horrible disease soon have a major breakthrough. I am sending hugs and caring to all of you. I wish I could help in some way.

His father and I have been texting for 24 hours straight about when to remove from vent. As I sit on our lanai doing some paperwork that has taken me 10 times longer, than normal, I have questions on why Bryan. Just waiting for the next text. Sadly his heart is strong and this will take awhile. So prayers for family still appreciated.
So sorry to hear about this tragic turn of events when the news previously seemed to be somewhat promising. You are so right, asianthree, about how tragedies such as this really put life into perspective.

God bless you for being such a good friend and support system to to this family. Prayers being said for all involved, especially Bryan.

What a perfect and beautiful friend you are. Questioning our faith is perfectly normal also, If the boss's son could question why can't we. The important thing is while you are down we will pick you up and cover for you with our prayers. The entire family & Bryan are lucky to have a friend like you. We are so sorry for what is going on stay strong

I couldn't say it better and will certainly continue the prayers.

So, so sorry to hear this. It is so hard to understand.

It's a stark reminder we need to turn to Almighty God who made us. The Scriptures are full of the tests of faith God gave them and us, to get our attention to turn to Him and not just to intelligent, gifted mortals who can do incredible therapies thru science and skill and practice......but who still cannot do all things, as God Almighty can.

Bless you all. Praying for his and the family's peace.

this thread breaks my heart...had not seen it until now....will pray that Bryan lives the time he has left with hope and joy and faith, so that no matter what happens he will feel peace. so so sad for a young person with so much potential to suffer so and for his parents...may God bless them all greatly. The book of Wisdom offers great comfort for the death of a young person. will still not give up on the possibility of a miracle, however....prayers offered...
