Default Grandmaster Ip Man.

One of the best martial arts movies I have seen.

Tells the true story of Wing Chun Grandmaster Ip Man. Who became a mentor to Bruce Lee.

Lots of WWII action involving the Japanese take-over of China and how they treated Chinese civilians.

Taltarzac. This is a new DVD release, right? The original title was IP Man.

Are they releasing it under a new name?

Default Grand Master Ip Man came out on DVD on July 27, 2010.

The Villages' Blockbuster has the DVD under Grand Master Ip Man . It is with Donnie Yen as Ip Man. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1220719/

I see that the 2008 film version was called Ip Man.

The web site for the US movie is http://www.ipmanmovie-us.com Its movie title seems to be Ip Man according to the DVD cover shown.

It is confusing. I would just look for either one. It is a 2008 movie.

Red Box has it under IP Man. We were looking for a movie tonight so I reserved it.

I'll post tomorrow on how I rate it.

Thanks for the heads up.

Well, we seen it last nite. It wasn't bad once you got by the dubbing and the CC. The words and expressions from the dubbing didn't match the words on the bottom of the screen.
I really like period movies and this was a treat. It showed the brutality that was a trademark of Japanese during WWII but glossed over by the so-called historians.

The fighting scenes were excellent.
