Default Hangover Part III, entertaining!

Hoping to choose the best film available today in TV, I saw Hangover III without having seen 1 and 2. I was thoroughly entertained for 15 minutes too long by an escape film with well-chosen cast, and thankfully minimal romance. It has action, violence, coarse language.

This is a comedy with an actual plot and twists and surprises. Hangover's charming and vulnerable characters make us feel that we in our imperfect humanity have companions along our bumbling way as we identify, even against our will with nutcases and criminals who let us into their silly world.

I have seen the first two and I am looking forward to seeing this one. I was pleasantly surprised that Hangover II was just as funny as Hangover I. They are risque'/blue films and aren't meant for everyone. If you haven't seen the first two movies, @Kitty, you should rent them. Be prepared to laugh!

Hangover III - If you've seen the first two, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. I love to rate movies over at IMDB, I've got about 2100 films rated so far. The first Hangover I gave an 8, the second a 6 and this one a 5. John Goodman is one of my favorites and is usually excellent no matter if it's a comedy like the Big Labowski and Raising Arizona, or a drama like Sea of Love. However, in this film as the villain he seemed to be playing a cariacture of himself. Overall it's better than most Seth Rogen comedies of late, but I would recommend waiting for the DVD.

There are two versions by the way. There is a bit after the credits that is full frontal male nudity and in some areas it has been left out. I could have done without that bit actually it sort of undid the finality of the movie leaving them back were they started I thought. But then again the whole movie is not my thing went with friends who changed movie we were attending at the last minute.
