Default The Housemaid

This movie was discussed here several months ago when it appeared in theaters but the thread got closed. It just recently appeared on HBO.
Wife and I found the first half of the movie a little "over the top" and a somewhat unbelievable. Wife decided she'd had enough but I finished on my own and I'm glad I did. It started to make sense and it had a worthwhile message that it was trying to convey. 4 out of 5 stars IMO

If you don't have HBO, you can rent it on Prime Video for $5.99.

The ‘good guy is the bad guy and the bad guy is the good guy’ thing is getting very tired. The epilogue was a bit of an eye roll.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, this fragmentated streaming thing is a pain in the a$$. Just how many subscriptions does one need to watch the next good flick? We have YoutubeTV, Netflix, Prime, and Peacock. Unfortunately, many new views seem to be on many of the other streaming platforms. We don’t want to keep signing up for, or jumping between, multiple platforms to watch the newest hot releases. Erggg!

One option is to wait a few months and buy the DVD from Amazon. This works especially well for a series.
