I have seen Jaws many times but usually only on TV. I did see it once in 1975 in Reno, Nevada at a theater.

Seeing it the first time in 1975 while working the summer on Cape Cod in high school was weird as the number of swimmers at Nauset beach was miniscule as compared to normal times.

However, reality today at Nauset beach is more like Jaws with the sharks hunting seals while humans swim when seals are not there.

A friend saw the movie once and then started taking girls to the movie so that he could hug them and save them when the head fell into view in the hole of the boat.
