Default Magic Mike.

I wonder how many straight males will go see Magic Mike?? Maybe, some husbands whose wives want to see it but do not want to go alone.

UUJudy and the group that has their weather radios reprogrammed once a week at the fire station are rumored to be organizing a theater party to see it in a group. I may or may not be part of that group.

It could make us all dizzy.

I think that I'll have to stay home and rearrange my sock drawer.

My girlfriend just saw it. She said "no real plot, but great buff bods, so who needs a plot"!

Hahahaha! I don't know how I missed your post, Gracie! Yes, the fire station group should definitely organize a theater party to see these hunks.... I mean this art film.

Saw it last weekend. Pretty entertaining. Enjoyed Channing Tatum (Mike) in his efforts to start his own business. Now that Matthew McConaghey (spelling?) has a third child on the way, guess the man has got to keep working to pay for the onesies and the diapers

IMHO, if you've seen one, you've seen enough!

I definitely recommend you rent "The Full Monty" An excellent movie! Actually one of my faves. I think it won several awards.

Great plot. Charming characters. Sometimes the British actors accents are a little hard to understand, but you can piece it together. It's worth the effort!

And a good example of how not giving everything away is actually much more suggestive than showing everything. (The finale is toooooo cute!)

Now that is one movie about naked-- or almost naked-- men, that a straight male does not mind admitting having seen. Very good movie.

Saw Magic Mike from a DVD I got from Netflix last night. Vey boring movie for a straight male like me. Not much of a plot, little in scene photography of landscapes and such, poor acting and writing, but just a lot of shots of half-naked men dancing.

I almost stopped it but wanted to see how it ended. End was kind of a disappointment and unbelievable too. A more true-to- life telling of Channing Tatum's actual experiences stripping in Tampa would have been better.

The critics liked it a lot more than the audiences according to Rotten Tomatoes. Magic Mike - Rotten Tomatoes

A co-worker of mine used this excuse to not attend a party being held by an old boss of ours. You should have seen the look on his face as he was stunned at this response.
