We enjoyed it. I was wondering if it was based on fact or is historic fiction?

The book The Reader available at Lake County Library and probably other libraries around TV too is historical fiction.

Default Liked the book The Reader but did not like the movie all that much.

Just saw The Reader at the Old Mill Playhouse and did not care for it all that much. Mainly because of the parts in the book which are not given any in-depth treatment in the movie.

The acting is very good though.

I guess most movies suffer when you read the book first??

I never enjoy a movie as much if I read the book first. "Marley and Me" is a good example.
