We saw the Reagan movie on the big screen in one of the larger theaters at the AMC in Lake Square Mall in Leesburg. We go to movies there very frequently, and for the first time in years every seat in the theater was filled. The movie was amazing, and portrayed a lot of history of that entire era, with much historic footage / photos. We learned so much about Reagan's entire lifetime, and his administration. The sense of awe and patriotism among the audience was very apparent, and was wonderful to be a part of. Like most people, we have large screen TVs at home; but nothing takes the place of seeing movies on the movies theater screens; especially if you are in luxury leather recliners like all of the AMC theaters have. Buy an A-List membership for about $24/person per month, and the cost of movies is minor (covers up to 3 movies/week); and permits you to go to AMCs everywhere. It's a fun outing, gives us a reliably cool and dry place to go for a walk, and we combine movie outings with doing other errands, or dining out, there or nearby. A fun find is the sports bar/cafe in the ViaPort Entertainment Complex (neon-lit bowling, arcade, indoor go carts, and more) that is in the mall.

I understand what you mean but it’s not really free on those venues. I enjoy the large screen movie theatre when there is a movie worth watching. It’s a night out from the status quo.

Yes they sure are less ! Just came back from visiting adult children, $18 and this was NOT one of those plush rocking chair theaters with full food service, nope, just an ordinary theater in St. Louis suburb !

Just bring back Ben Hur in CinemaScope with the chariots "seeming" to be circling around and behind you... now that was exciting back in the day !

The chairs at the AMC in Leesburg are great but I still go to the Old Mill Playhouse. Mainly because it is so much closer.

That fact alone would be motivation enough to see it. |

I saw it this week, & it was fantastic. I remembered many of the issues portrayed. I might go again, it is that good.

There is no incremental cost to watch it already paid for the service whether we watch or not.

Saw it today at Old Mill. Seats were very comfortable. Movie was excellent and confirmed my opinion of Mr Reagan as a very good and smart President

And for those of us who like to go to movies frequently, if you get an A-List membership at the AMC (then you can go to Lake Square Mall, Disney Springs, Tampa, Altamonte Springs, or AMCs - the world's largest movie chain, with cutting edge technology that is hard for smaller or independent theater operators to compete with - anywhere, such as when you are traveling) your cost is only $24.49 per month to see up to 3 movies a week at any showtime, plus the membership includes waived convenience fees for choosing seats days in advance, rewards, birthday concessions gifts, and many other perks. We go to about 6 movies at AMCs per month on average (because we are spoiled to the comfort of watching movies on the big screen in leather recliners), so our cost per movie is about $4, and is even less than that considering the waived convenience fees and other perks.
