Default Noah

We rented Noah at Redbox yesterday and watched it last night. It was pretty god, even though it had some science fiction effects in it. I guess I just never heard the Noah had "Rock People" help him build the Ark. It was worth the time to watch though.

I have not seen, but i have heard bible scholars allege it has almost no basis in scripture. No rock people in the Bible.

I watched it yesterday. It was unbelievable. It seemed to me they took a lot of liberties with the bible version. The Watchers - give me a break.

AND I think that Cecil B DeMille would have done it closer to the bible version - ala The Ten Commandments.

We were very disappointed in the movie Noah.....& sorry that we rented it.
Not what I expected at all. Waste of time & money.

Perhaps I was expecting the children's bible version of Noah & the Ark.
Just was flabbergasted at this new version............

Not one of my favorite Russell Crowe movies. The Watchers did kind of wreck it for me. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/russell_crowe/

I have no opinion on the religious aspects. IMHO this was a "stinker" Could not wait for it to be over!

They should have just stuck to the real story. 500 year old man advised of upcoming great flood. Builds giant ship. Every animal on earth gets on ship. Monsoon rains engulf the entire earth at the same time and world completely floods. All people on earth die except 500 year old man and family. Water levels drop and man and family members reproduce and ultimately repopulate the entire earth. At the same time the flood waters form the grand canyon along with whoever knows what else.

Don't you just hate fiction?

Repopulating from a small gene pool is such a good idea.

Saw the movie. Terrible acting, terrible special effects. Just an awful movie and not worth the time or money.
