The Wire. Season 1 on DVD

Just finished watching The Wire Season one on DVD which I got for free from Lake County Library System with the exception of Disc 2 which did not play so well which I got at the Blockbuster here in TV.

Fascinating story in Season one centering on the drug trade around the projects in Baltimore, MD and the internal politics in the Baltimore Police Department with how to control it.

This series seems to be written by a former Baltimore homicide detective named Ed Burns. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Burns
