I keep underestimating Kris' cuteness factor! I agree that Danny's version of "You are so beautiful" was the best song of the night, but he just didn't have the same fan base that Kris seems to have. Adam definitely deserves to win!

Our grandsons love AI, but do not vote. They picked Danny to win.......On the other hand....all the young 13 and under girls they and I know, vote all the time. Votes are what count and I think that the, "cute" factor is the deciding factor. JMHO

Adam Lambert supporters will have to make sure they call in and not take his winning for granted. In my humble opinion, Adam deserves to win. He is a great singer, truly an original, and he has wonderful charisma.

The next two nights on Idol are not to be missed. I have seen a lot of slightly negative press in regard to Adam because of his theatrical backround.His voice has amazing range that we have not heard because of his rock style. He is unique, and that may be his undoing......so vote folks ....cuz that's the only way he will win.

I was rooting for Kris or Danny all the way. Adam is very talented, but was way too polished for an amatuer and I thought the premise of the show was to find a diamond in the rough, with no previous professional experience.

Adam will go on to greater things for sure and it was so nice to see the underdog win. I just wanted to jump through the TV and give Kris a big ole hug!

The judges certainly did all they could to ensure Adam's win, which may have hurt him in the end.

Adam is in a better position by not winning. He is only obligated to American Idol until the tour is over. Adam will still be a big star on his terms not by corporate American Idol. I can't wait to buy his cd's.

Rod Stuart looked "tipsy" to me.

I'm so pleased that Kris won. He's so talented with playing piano, guitar and a beautiful voice. He will go a long way especially with his personality that his ego has not taken over; he's a real down-to-earth talent; a delight.

Adam is quite a performer and he will go a long way as most do that may not take first prize. I do think that he outdid himself with the kinky ways of his personality as well as the screaming that drowns out the tune, but I guess that's this generation's "thing."

I noticed that poo-face Simon didn't stand up and applaud when the winner was announced. Simon felt that Adam was a shoe-in, but they'll still make big bucks on such a talented group this year.

I recorded the show and thank goodness as I not only fast forwarded thru the commercials, but also the guests like "KISS" et al. Not my genre. Yuk
