Favorite Tina Turner song?
Tina Turner - Wikipedia
R.I.P. Tina Turner.
I did have a few of her CDs and maybe even an Eight Track. Had an Eight Track in my purple Nova with flowers. My Dad got great deals on cars that were involved with insurance matters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGEJzMQN2Rs

Tina Turner was an amazing performer. Saw her twice. Once in 1983 at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Again in 1987 at the Popler Creek Music Theater out side of Chicago. Both unforgettable.

As a woman, I have to admit I envied her those incredible legs! The voice was great too, but the legs ...... wow.

What'''s Love Got to Do with It (1993) - IMDb
Remember seeing What's Love Got to Do with It in 1993 with my mother in Petaluma, CA.
I had been writing victim/witness assistance programs in every state around then to find out what they would like to see in their public and other types of libraries. I would write these agencies until I got to or near the top of the bureaucracy which was usually the Attorney General's Office for the State.
I did get a lot of useful responses which I copied and then reduced a number of times so that I could get 4 pages of copied and reduced responses and a cover letter so it was not that expensive to get stuff out to many people. I also looped in public health academics. I did share these responses with librarians who were often very unresponsive and/or dismissive.
It was movies like Tina Turner's biography that often pushed me. She had gone through a lot of abuse from her husband as is depicted in the movie.

“What’s Love Got to Do with It” (1984). I am partial to songs from the early(glory) days of MTV.
