Default Thank You Beatlemaniacs

today i attended the Beatlemaniacs regular meeting which was converted partially to a memorial service in honor of our friend Gee Wiz, Gary Brown. he had been a member of the group and today gary's son Sam was able to fulfill gary's dream of having him play with the group and having his friends hear him play...it was very moving and gary's family and friends really appreciated this wonderful opportunity to remember him in such a happy way.

It was nice to share this special moment with Gary's friends and family. I enjoyed the meeting especially the music, having Garys son Sam play the drums was extremely touching. Thank you so much Kitty for setting this up being such a big part of it. Ellen

for those who have not met kitty, you are missing a great gal! she grabbed the tambourine during some of the last songs, and when the band discussed whether to play in D or A, she yelled out, I can't play in D! she is so funny and can make a bittersweet event memorable. a wonderful new addition to our community!

Thank you for the nice words, chachacha. I didn't have the opportunity to meet everyone there personally and I'm sorry that I missed you. I'm glad that everything turned out so well and I thought it was a very fitting tribute to our dear friend and fellow Beatlemaniac, Gary.

thanks for loaning me the tambourine...I came in crying and left feeling warm and full of joy. I enjoyed the music, hearing Gary's son, Sam on drums, and most of all singing the finale, "She loves you" with arms around Gary's former wife, Kay. We all loved him.
rip Gary, we miss you.
