One of my top three artists of all time. I would go to see BB every chance I had. In the last twenty or so years I could see him slowly failing, but I was never disappointed.

I've known this day was coming for quite while and he had a good run at 89 years old, but still is it so sad.

He will be missed. I went to a concert 20 years ago in Santa Rosa,CA, and even then he had to be carried on and off the stage in a chair - but the music was still great.

I saw him once in Boston at a place called Paul's Jazz Workshop. They had a 8" platform for a stage and I was in front row of chairs 6' away from BB. Great show. I saw him in Bangor Me a few years back and he was still a showman but had lost a lot of his guitar execution and relied heavily on back up band. Still glad I saw him again.
