Default Watching 60 Minutes

Just wondering ..... Who was the first person to fly off a mountain in one of those flying suits? Who was the first person to find that a crocodile didn't mind that one cut a piece of his tail off? Just things that make me wonder.

I don't know what frightens more...jumping off a cliff or cutting a piece of an alligators tail. Loved the polar bear segment!

It's funny how we create certain images of various animals. All carnivores kill other animals for food, yet 60 Minutes, like most other programs, shows the crocodile attacking and killing a baby yak or some kind of african animal. Polar bears are adorable so they never showed them killing a seal or a penguin.

I don't if I have any real point here other then we have certain images of certain animals and the media propagates them.

If an animal is cute and fuzzy, we like them. If they're not, we don't.

I've often wondered that myself. For instance, who was the first medicine doctor that found certain herbs were healing and others were poisonous?

Sorry for the thread hijack.
