The Human Jungle - outstanding British series
Interesting stories, great acting, well filmed... AND British accents that you can easily understand.
This series from British TV (mid-60s) stars Herbert Lom as a psychiatrist. I've watched the entire series and only two episodes weren't well above average for TV. The Human Jungle British Golden Era of Television - YouTube another great series (British drama) is "Public Eye " Public Eye - TV Series Seasons 5,6&7 (39 Full Episodes) - YouTube Does anyone actually sample any of the suggest shows? Give these a try and post your thoughts.

I will admit to watching BBC World News every morning because I really want to know what is going on in the rest of the world, not just here on our three sub-par cable channels. I used to like Al-Jazera for intelligent international news until someone decided it was a terrorist organization! Any time you get or find British shows on TV please post that information, and also post how we can find the shows. I saw recently that Julia Roberts is making a mini series for TV, but it will not be on the regular channels and I have no idea how to find that either. I had better start educating myself because most of the stuff on our TVs is mind numbing.

If you get a VPN connected to your computer, use a HDMI cable to your TV and you can watch BBC UK TV live or the Iplayer. When prompted say you have a TV licence. You have to register for the Independant channels I use a paid for VPN, but there are free ones. If you watch the BBC Iplayer catchup, look for David Attenborough's Planet Earth 2. The whole series is a masterpiece of filming. Last edited by Two Bills; 12-29-2016 at 10:09 AM. Reason: spelling |
