If going one-way, we take Brightline from MCO to Port Everglades

For a return, we use Cruise Express

Cruise express does not run the entire year stops pretty much when snowbirds leave

Yes, board the last one and you might find yourself doing a tour of the Canadian Rockies :-)

Get a Southwest credit card for 69 bucks. They often give 80,000 free miles. Plus free bag

Go to Orlando airport take the 40 minute flight for free with your points and it’s a quick 5 mile Uber to the port. A lot less stressful.

You will spend more time going to MCO, arriving 2 hours early, going thru TSA, taking the flight, waiting to get off, and finally taking an uber than the time it takes use ground transportation. Plus you need to either drive to MCO and pay for parking or pay for ground transportation to MCO.

The RedBus! They even offer a first class one that has very life’s stops to the Ft Lauderdale airport. It’s a quick uber from there. If you buy the tix ahead, I’ve gotten them for $49! You get a reclining seat, and internet plus a charging plug. You don’t even have to go all the way to Orlando airport as they come further north towards Ocala with stops in between.

Redbus.com
I have tried searching on Redbus.com but, even if I put in Ocala to Fort Lauderdale, I get a picture of a (dead-looking) bus and no results.

I can't find any route maps on the site.

What start and end stops do you put in the search boxes?

Thank you

Try looking at Redcoachusa.com ... It shows routes from Ocala to Ft Lauderdale and Miami

Agreed, but I'll go a step further: JUST DRIVE the day prior, then park at one of the off-port lots. Much less stressful than messing with numerous transfers.

I sincerely hope you're not planning to "bus it" the day of your cruise. Too much can go wrong that could cause you to miss the boat. One accident on the Turnpike and you're done. Just drive down the day prior (4 hours), get a room, and park at one of the off-port lots. That's how we ALWAYS do it. Pretty much stress-free. Brightline might be fun, but I'd still do it the day before...but then you'd still have numerous transfers which, to us, equals added stress.
